Improving Profitability Through Energy Efficiency

The Dairy Industry Resource Advantage (DIRA) Program, one of Pacific Gas and Electric Company’s (PG&E’s) third-party efficiency programs administered by CLEAResult, helps dairy customers identify potential opportunities to reduce energy use, provides project recommendations based on industry-specific experience, and quantifies the economic value of energy efficiency upgrades. Working as a partner with the dairy and its contractors of choice, the DIRA Program provides a clear path toward increased energy savings, including simple access to deemed rebates and calculated incentives for all systems found at a dairy. Participation in this no-cost program will help the dairy customer reduce energy costs, which is important in an increasingly competitive dairy market.

Eligibility Requirements

The DIRA Program may be available to dairy production sites of any size that receive electric or gas service from PG&E. The program focuses on retrofit projects. New construction projects are not eligible.

The DIRA Program is available from January 1, 2016, to December 31, 2018, and may be modified or terminated without notice.
